Special Notice: NaNoWriMo

I guess I should let you know, though you may or may not have figured it out from the countdown timer: I am doing NaNoWriMo X! Very excited, cause it's number ten for them, and number one for me! And I plan to modify the story into a sim story at some future unspecified date. Of course, for now I have already have three other projects going, two of which will be blogged, so don't look for it anytime soon. But I will put my somewhat finished work up on December 1 to read. And you all can do the editing for me! LOL I kid, I kid.

What does that mean for Spirit, Allen, Sephia, Sedona and Sorento? No updates for the month of November. Sorry, but there's no way I'll be able to blog them AND write 50,000 words in a month. And I'm unsure about how many I'll get to do for October. I usually do two, but if I'm not done all my research by October 15, you'll likely only see one. Plans are still on though for normal updates for October.

And, if you are participating in NaNoWriMo, let me know! I'd love to pick up tips and see your story!

Hello from TS2 challenges,
I am also doing NaNo! This makes my 3rd attempt. I have no tips though because I have yet to finish. I am ActiveReader there and Distant_Star at the TS2 list.

Maybe your sims will be able to give you some ideas when you get stumped. :)

Good luck!

I'm going Nano as well. This'll be my second year and I won the first time, hurrah! :D

I'll be posting mine to my LJ as I go.

If you struggle in the beginning don't stress, the beginning is the hard part. Also don't restrict yourself to 1667 words a day. Writing more on the days you're feeling inspired will help cover you on the days where you feel like your muse had abandoned you.

Hooray for NaNoWriMo! I know we already talked about it on twitter, but you know I'm doing it, too. Trying to win a second time, LOL!

You should make an LJ account so I can add you. I friend-lock my chapters, but progress updates/etc are open to the public. Have you decided if you'll blog it yet?

And yeah, I agree with the commenter above... never limit how much you write daily. I've had days where I went waaay over the limit. I technically won in less than 20 days, because I only had certain days of actual writing.

Anyway, good luck!
